what does it mean to be a princess... I often wonder that as I look at my not so perfect self in the mirror. Do I have what it takes to be Royalty? ...a princess to me is a special person, a person with potential, someone who is learning (how to be queen). A princess is not spoiled, or lazy. She does not think she is better than the rest. She is only navigating life with a little more grace and a little more determination. She is striving to gain the wisdom that will make her a Queen some day. So can I be a princess for a day? ...I can be a princess everyday!

... so as i said yesterday.. there is so many new frocks and frills that the shop girls didn't have time to get it all out in just 24 (hrs), conveniently giving me another excuse to go shopping again! you know how i feel about being first in the door! let me just say yesterday was amazing.. today blew my knickers up!
FABULOUS! and let me just tell you.. yes it does look as good on you as it does on the mannequin. (maybe even better.. there is something about movement..)

the suit cases were packed...

so i told you the shop girls went for a shopping spree!! and did they ever come back with the most wonderful finds for spring! here is a taste of the loot.. i"m going back tomorrow for more!

a little bird told me...

the shop girls are goin' shopin'!!! they will be "out of the office" wednesday and thursday (although the store will still be open). they will be loading up their shopping bags with frocks to die for (well maybe to play hookey on friday for!) the jet setters will be back with prizes galore thursday night, so get to bed early because there will be new goodies on the racks friday and saturday... try to beat me there...

have you ever been in a place that just makes you feel like this..? like a kid in a candy store or the beautiful princess in the fairy tale? i love just looking at this little figurine and imagining where her mind may be. she looks so peaceful and well happy. perhaps she's remembering the perfect cupcake she made her debut on. i think that she just had the performance of her life and everyone is cheering! here's to a year that is filled with dreams come true and once in a life time performances ( and perfect little cupcakes...).. happy new year ladies!
