progress is beautiful!!!

so the new windows are in, the stucco is done inside and out (except for just a little reminder of what used to be)... time for new floors, MAJOR deep cleaning and then the fun of filling it back up!... the shop girls have already been SHOPPING and this stuff is to die for!

so stay tuned.. only a few more weeks!!

update!!

well, just a little over a week after the accident, sirens and saints officially has a front window! As you can see there is still work to be done.. but the shop girls hope to open the front door once more in a few weeks... stay tuned for all the details.

not the greatest wake up call...

this is the picture that appeared on my screen this morning from my most dear and wonderful Lani... a very upsetting picture as i realized that this was what used to be the beautiful picture window in the front of sirens and saints. last night, a vehicle, that was being driven by an intoxicated driver, jumped the curb and came to a stop in the middle of the sales floor. the shop girls are in shock, but everyone is safe. no one was in the building at the time. the wall should be back in a week or so, there is a lot to clean and everything has to be inventoried...

so the girls will sift through the rubble and get it straightened out... as you can imagine the shop will be closed for a while, but sirens and saints will reopen just as fabulous as it was before (if not better!).

vagabond days...

in case you didn't know... THIS SATURDAY! is the 2010 m7 Street Fair here in the Melrose District. and in celebration the shop girls are hosting vagabond days! the third thurday gypsys will be here with all their wares... the sale rack is dipin' down a little lower for saturday only and everything will be 50% off... so come down for some good old fashion fun and join the girls (and the shop) in celebration.
